just couldn't resists taking a shot ... i just loved the colors and the way they were arranged ~ so elegant! :)

interestingly, i never knew googling for the word "shoe" would give me these meanings from Thinkexist.com:

1. (n.) The outer cover or tread of a pneumatic tire, esp. for an automobile.
2. (n.) A plate, or notched piece, interposed between a moving part and the stationary part on which it bears, to take the wear and afford means of adjustment; -- called also slipper, and gib.

i like the way the colors
from the simple necklace seem to jump off from this man's skin.

ps. look at those scars ... interesting story, am sure!

Childhood

Having fun, and learning at the same time ...
these two kids were very eager to go inside and play ...
they both know they'll have lots of fun once they
set foot inside! :)

a RARE mistake ....

a 1983 Philippine 50centavo coin, with the scientific name of the endangered Philippine Eagle wrongly spelled ... it is supposed to be Pithecophaga jefferyi.

STEPS

steps (definition from here)
n 1: a way of access consisting of a set of steps [syn: stairway, staircase, stairs]
2: the course along which a person has walked or is walking in;
"I followed in his steps"; "he retraced his steps"

... these steps are considered to be the last steps Jose Rizal made, while on his way to his execution, last December 30, 1896.
