I have always loved eating tawilis...and sometimes when I don't have the 'fresh' fish on hand the ones inside the bottle will do. ;)

I haven't tried Tawilis yet. Is it as salty as tuyo or it tastes totally different?

i grew up near the Taal lake and I must say that tawilis is one of the best fish. it is sad na wala akong makitang fresh tawilis here in manila. saan ka nakabili ng tawilis in corn oil, sis?

I haven't had tawilis in eons. The fresh ones are the most delicious fish ever. My mom used to grill them over charcoal served with sea salt and calamansi juice. I'm drooling just thinking about it. I'll visit our Filipino grocery store and look for these.
