Food Friday

That's Dear Darla Pizza from Yellow Cab. I just love the idea of adding more greens on the thin crust pizza; plus they use arugula, too (my favorite!).

Hubby surprised us one time by ordering this while he was in an out-of-town meeting with clients. It was a good thing he informed us about the arriving pizza or else we wouldn't have accepted it! Yeah. Seriously. lol.

Adjusting

I have sometimes come across articles about men being able to burn fat faster than women; it has something to do with their metabolism, I think, and so I have often wondered if there are actually diet pills for men out there! Well, I know, some men/women feel that their bodies are not what they really want so they "change" things; surgically, or not.

I must admit, I know I don't have the sexiest body around but somehow I learn to adjust. I try to avoid certain dress designs (and even some colors) that I just don't feel comfortable wearing. We all have our own ways ... what's yours?

Fiesta Time

It's summer once again ... and that means fiesta time! Well, most of the places here in my country have their own specific fiesta dates, but in my province most of them falls during summer. I wonder why ... ;)

Fiesta time means there are loads of food, too ... and that means loads of eating, of course! I wonder if some people need to look up noxycut reviews after all the unrestrained eating they'll be doing! lol.

As for me, I am quite far from my hometown, so all those food has to go to some other people's stomach. Well, am sure they'll put it to good use! No doubt about that. ;P

I don't think you'd find hemorrhoid treatments in the uppermost section of the "most searched" items, but I think it's equally important. A friend once had to have surgery and I witnessed the agony he suffered; I wouldn't want that to happen to me! I was told that eating spicy food could trigger hemorrhoids, but I'm not really that sure. However, that made me lessen the spicy food I have been consuming .... and I so love eating spicy foods!

I know, I need to read more about it. And I will. :)

Food Friday

That's pichi-pichi. Made with grated cassava, water, and sugar; then sprinkled with freshly grated coconut. Well, at least that's what our fave pichi-pichi vendor told us. lol. She usually passes by our house every other day and most of the time we buy these local treats from her (at Php1 per piece).

I found some sprinkled with cheese, but haven't tried those yet. Or some that are colored differently (like, green). I still have to try those. But for now, these will suffice. :)
