I'm sure my brother would love to get a good quality stereo cabinet this Christmas! The old one that he has right now just doesn't fit into his living room. It's too small for their new stereo, and frankly, it is kind of an eyesore. I just hope that the one that I saw recently at a furniture store near their place would look good at their place.
Now all I have to do is make sure that nobody will buy that stereo cabinet before the week ends! ;P

I remember, while preparing for our wedding, hubby (who was of course still wasn't my husband, then) and I were undecided what gift to give to his groomsman, his cousin.
We started asking around for affordable but wonderful groomsmen gifts, and it was a good thing my aunt had a wonderful idea: themed wine!
We visited some shops who were selling wine then just proceeded to giftwrap them ourselves. His cousin loved it!
Such wonderful times, those days. :)

When I hear the word Las Vegas I immediately think of casinos, gambling, great shows, and the famous hotel: Wynn Las Vegas. I believe that some famous celebrities have already slept there; no wonder, since the hotel is famous in it's own right.
A friend who recently arrived in the US to finish her masteral studies plan to visit Las Vegas real soon. I guess she is intrigued by the lights and gambling that are constantly happening there.

Hubby and I have been thinking of getting our own place here in the city; we have been on the lookout for places which seems appealing to us. One real estate agent showed us this house which was located near our son's school; the first time we saw it, we immediately fell in love with it!
The interior design of the house was beautiful, and the quality of the workmanship was amazing. But, when we asked for the price, our hearts sank. It was too expensive for us!
We still dream of owning that house someday; I just hope that nobody will beat us to it! :)

I have always been intrigued about insurance, specially when it comes to term insurance. Term insurance is a type of insurance that only provides protection on a specified period of time. I guess an example would be if I travel somewhere and then decide to get insurance only for the time while I was travelling.
I remember, everytime we rode a ferry boat or any other sea vessel, we were required to buy these insurance tickets. It costs a bit, but at least we were insured.
Some passengers were heard grumbling about the additional cost, but honestly, I was glad that the management decided to implement the insurance policy towards it's passengers. It's really better to be safe than sorry.

One of the things that are essential, in my opinion, are bags. We just can't go far without any bags where we can place our things. Different bags are required for different uses, but there really is no straight line how you use a bag. As long as you use it properly, then you won't have any problem.
Hubby likes window shopping for travelpro bags since he does a lot of travelling. Usually his bags doesn't last long, and that's why he makes it a point to look at current bags on sale whenever he has the chance.
That reminds me, it's a weekend today and later we just might be going to the mall ... that means we have to pass by the travel shop! Nope, we won't be buying anything, yet. Maybe next time. :)

Every now and then a new product comes out, and usually market research is necessary. I guess it helps not only the customers, but also the company. Through this procedure, the company will have an idea if it popular with the targeted market, or not. Am not really sure what happens during market researches, but so far it has been known to help with new products. Possibly with "older" products, too, that needed to be revised.
Having moved to this house around two years ago, we had to change some of our furnitures because it just doesn't fit the current house. Our previous apartment was bigger, so the furnitures that we had then were bigger. This time, though, our apartment here in the city is smaller, so we had to sell some of our bigger furnitures (but we gave most of them away).

Our family love popcorn! Even my niece and nephews love them! We sometimes use the microwave to pop some corns, but lately we have been thinking of getting ourselves a popcorn machine. We're not sure where we might be able to find some good popcorn machines, though, so in a bit I will try finding the internet for such a site.

I've got a classmate who's in the US right now, and just recently she got herself some Broadway tickets. It has been ages since she planned her trip and watch some Broadway shows; and now that she has finally got them, she can hardly wait! She will be watching together with her hubby; yup, they are both Broadway fans!
I remember, when we were still in college, we both just had to watch almost all of the stage plays being shown at the university. We both get this wonderful high after watching each show.

Are you a movie fan, like me? Well, I am not really a fanatic, but I do so love watching a good movie every now and then. Most of the time if we don't get to watch that movie in the theaters, we will buy the vcd or the dvd version of the movie.I have an internet friend who's really a movie fanatic; she and her hubby like to make it a point to watch at least three movies per week. I believe they borrow the movies online, that's why they can watch three movies a week, at least. She would then email me the movies that they watched that week, and I really appreciate it since I would then have an idea which movies are good to watch, or not. I do so value her free reviews for me. I noticed that she is into collecting movie memorabilias, too. Well, she and her hubby are both movie buffs, so I wasn't really surprised. She occasionally views sites which has great memorabilia stuff for sale.

My friend who's now living in the US has been in touch with me recently, and she mentioned that she and her hubby are having a grand time going on short trips. She just loves going on trips and finding out more about her hubby's country. The last trip that she mentioned was their trip to Branson, Missouri. They enjoyed their stay so much that they plan to go there again before the year ends, or early next year.
I'm really so happy for her and her new life in another country. :)

The internet can really be a great thing! Well, of course, some people might not agree with me, but personally, I believe we internet surfers have a choice. I say that internet is a great thing since I choose not to go sites that doesn't interest me, or that disgusts me. I just feel that it's a loss of my personal time going to sites that I really don't care much about; as simple as that. :)

My family and I used to live in the province and loved the environment there. It was definitely a far cry from where we are right now (urban area), but I do recall that we planned on staying there for long. We even made plans to check around designs for luxury homes, and even bought some magazines to show them to the contractor. But I guess that that dream had to wait for a while, since we had to move to the city because of hubby's job.
We don't regret moving (the schools available here for our son are just great!), since the place where we are right now is quite near my sister's place. It's wonderful to be near family again; my sister and I can catch up with how things are doing with her, and our children can get to play whenever they want! We're practically neighbors!
Still, there are times that I do miss our house at the province. I'm sure we'll get back there again; if not now, then maybe in the future. :)

Don't you just love books? I do, and I know a lot of bloggers who love feel the same way, too! When I was still in college, my sisters and I usually frequented the bookstore located just one jeepney ride away from our house. We used to browse through the books after we did our shopping. Usually we'd go home with a pocketbook or two.
Now we don't have as much time to go shopping together (and buy books at our favorite bookstore); but usually when hubby and I have the time, we visit the bookstore. We just love the feeling of being surrounded by all those books and the treasures contained in each and every one of them!

Oh my, it's already September, and three months more it's going to be the height of the Christmas season! I am excited about the approaching season, but a bit stumped on what to give to family and friends. I will be asking my son (yup, I love his out-of-this-world ideas!) and hubby (practical ones, though sometimes too heavy/expensive for my budget!) for some fun and practical christmas gift ideas.
What I won't be enjoying much will be the crowd at the malls during this special occasion. I guess to avoid the rush all I have to do is make sure I finish my Christmas gift-buying before everyone else; and that means I have to start now! :)

The other weekend when we went to the mall we passed by some trophies on display, and they were for sale. I was really quite taken with the trophies there since the workmanship was really good and it felt sturdy enough (I couldn't help but hold some of them). Nope, I'm not on the lookout really, for trophies. I just remembered an online photographer friend who enjoys playing golf and I know he and his team won some trophies a couple of months ago.
It has been months since I've chatted with them, I wonder how they're doing now ... will check them out and see if they're online; it'd be great catching up with them again! :)

Back when I used to work for an agricultural company, my colleagues and I used to huddle together in one of the conference tables located at the office and then talk. Nope, we don't talk about business all the time; in fact, most of the time we would talk and make plans for the night! LOL. We seldom see each other since we are usually destined for field work, so when we meet during our weekly meetings we talk about going out! :)
Don't you just feel like taking a vacation ... away from it all? Trust me, I feel the same way at times, too! But, the important thing to consider would be the place where to stay; good thing home rentals are there to help with the problem! It's really a convenient deal specially if you are bringing your family (and your extended family, too) with you. Orlando vacation home rental is the perfect set-up. I just know that the place where we will be staying will no longer be a problem; now isn't that a neat deal?
