Food Friday

This week's Featured in Food Friday player is ......

Ms. Peachkins, who blogs over at The Peach Kitchen, with her post:
Easy To Do Witch Hats For Your Children's Halloween Party.

Now that's a very ingenious way of using chocolates, chocolate covered biscuits, food color, and frosting! I really enjoy dropping by The Peach Kitchen not only because of the awesome food shots but also because of Ms. Peachkins' way of writing: direct to the point. Now, we all have lives outside the internet, so getting the gist of the post the soonest is important (for me); that gives me more time to browse on her other posts! Want to know what other creative stuffs Ms. Peachkins have posted for Halloween? Then don't wait any longer...click and visit!

Another breakfast post for me (I am a breakfast fan, lol) ...Tuna Paella with Bananas and Eggs.

I know, I cheated on this one (for me, the faster the better, lol) because I used a can of tuna paella. Yup, from a can. :i

Ingredients:

  • cooked rice
  • bananas (plantain variety)
  • eggs
  • cooking oil, tomatoes, salt, pepper,
  • a can of tuna paella

Procedure:

  • Halve some plantain bananas and fry. Set aside.
  • Saute tomatoes, add in some scrambled eggs, season with salt and pepper. When cooked to your liking, remove from the pan and set aside.
  • Open canned tuna paella and place contents on pan. No need to add oil since it is already rather oily. Stir and mix in cooked plain rice (even if the canned paella already has rice, i wanted to add plain rice since i find it too strong for my taste). Continue mixing until well incorporated, and heated through.
  • Assemble everything on a plate, and enjoy!

I had that together with hot chocolate... :$

Maiylah. Thanks for hosting another great party. I have been hankering for a good protein cookie since my husband and I started an insane workout schedule. These are the cookie and they are gluten free and dairy free! Not that that matters to me but it might to some:) Hope you like!

Jenn at: Fri Oct 21, 11:28:00 PM GMT+8 said...

I got to try the Tuna Paella, too, but I didn't quite like it - siguro kasi medyo mushy yung rice. Pero all the other San Marino products I like. :)

Happy Friday!
