Food Friday

Milkfish (Bangus) Belly
... first cooked it in water, soy sauce, vinegar, salt, pepper, ginger, chili, smoked paprika and garlic, then had it for dinner. The next day I fried the leftovers slightly, reduced the liquid, and drizzled a bit of sesame oil (love the aroma as well as the taste) and calamansi juice to the finished product.

Paired with steaming rice...burp! :D

ps. should have done this EONS ago: adding a backlink to those who played as my way of saying thanks for linking back. :)

*I don't think my other blog will be 'operational' real soon...and I don't think I have the time to make another blog, so Food Friday is here to stay. For now. I think. Many many thanks to those who have kept on playing! :)

Waaahhh here in our area, sa Malabon, Bangus / Milkfish is like the most common fish you'd see at the table. And I super love it, especially when my mom buys them boneless. I think we'll have bangus this weekend kaya I can't wait, especially after seeing this. It's one of the fishes I can eat everyday (basta boneless hehehe).

By the way, I haven't tried using other spices/herbs with it so I'd probably try that. Hmmm... parang gusto ko tuloy ako na lang magluto hahaha. Thanks for sharing! :)
