Last cloudy weekend we woke up to a very noisy bird outside our window (actually, not directly outside our window); it seemed to be scolding someone!
Then I saw this shrike; it apparently seemed to be calling/warning another bird.
Maybe a sparrow; we have lots of those! This shrike is almost always around, but there are only a few of them here.

That's a great shot. When I try to shoot birds I hear in the morning they always fly off. You were lucky to get that shot.
