That's the flower of the Sensitive Plant (Mimosa pudica), which we call locally as "Makahiya". I took this shot at a cemetery; it is a pretty common plant around here, and most gardeners consider it as a weed. You have to watch out for it's thorns, though ... it could hurt!

    What a beautiful flower. The sensitive plant has always fascinated me, and I have often had one in the house - but I have never seen the flower - and I am so suprised to see how lovely it is!

    When we were kids we called it the touch-me-not plant. Used to have fun watching it close when we touched the leaves.
