Food Friday

We had this last month (Christmas). I forgot the name, but we bought this on a whim while we were in Tagaytay (Cavite, Philippines). I wanted to know if the whole thing was made of ice cream; I guess I was slightly disappointed. lol. Only the center was filled with ice cream. ;P

It tasted fine; not to-die-for, though. But they do have other varieties. One (or two, or three, or more...) could be "it" for me. :P

Food Friday

I used to eat this almost every week while I was in college. Not because it was my favorite, lol, but simply because my sisters loved having them for dessert every weekend whenever I came home. This buko pie came from Tagaytay (Cavite), though. Brought from Bahay Pastulan by hubby. I must admit, I found their filling too sweet; but the crust was perfect! :)

My verdict? I still find the buko pie in College, Laguna tastier. Or maybe I am just biased. LOL

Last Sunset ...

That's last year's last sunset... shot taken by my SE satio. I did have my point and shoot camera with me, my trusty old canon powershot S3 IS, but the batteries drained at the very last minute; while the dslr was left in the car. LOL

Face ...

I am not getting any younger and it looks like I will be needing an eye wrinkle cream real soon! I was playing with my phonecam a few hours ago, and started taking my picture. My face looked tired (I do feel tired, both inside and out! I guess taking care of a feisty one year can do that to a person, LOL) and my skin looked like it needed to go to the spa. I am not a spa person, but if it's just for a facial thingy I just might agree to the idea. If so, then I'd best go and start checking out the rates! :D

Just don't eat

After I gave birth to my second son I had some friends asking me what weight loss product I used to lose weight. Yup, I did lose weight during my second pregnancy. I didn't feel like eating much at that time, and even the doctor was slightly worried. She wanted me to eat more, but I just didn't feel like eating. I guess that that was the 'secret' to my losing weight; not eating. lol. It sounds so easy, but now I am finding it quite hard not to eat. I just like eating, specially pizza and those fat-laden dishes. lol.

I guess it's time for me to go and find a weight-loss product/program for myself! :)

On losing ...

I have encountered phentermine lots of times (specially in my spam folder, lol) but haven't really gotten around to reading about it. I just know that it is widely used by people who want to lose weight. I would love to lose weight (I believe I have gained a few pounds after all that eating we did during the holidays), but I must admit I am hesitant about using "chemicals". I want to see actual results from people that I personally know. I know, that's kind of impossible since I don't think they'd admit to using pills just so they'd lose weight, lol. Or maybe I am wrong.

Let's just wait and see ... in the meantime, I will try to cut down on my food intake. ;)
