I have been reading so much about green smoothies, and it has really made me curious. I mean, it must be real healthy, right? Well, depends largely on the ingredients, of course. I read that spinach is usually the green ingredient of choice...

Just downloaded this free ebook ... let's see if this smoothie requires loads of spinach, too!

Year 50

This is what I am currently reading. INTERESTING. Reminds me of one of my fave tv series ever, The X-Files. This is kind of like a cross between the X-Files and The Living Dead. :P

Got this for free (I always browse through Amazon's free ebooks whenever I get the chance), but it's now $4.99. Here's a link to their free ebooks, if you want to see what's free to download right now: Current Best Sellers (ebook)

It's Only Natural (Ebook)

With all the hazardous chemicals being used as cleaning agents these days, I find this ebook a "refreshing" change. lol. Yes, honestly I do. Sure, sometimes the harsh chemicals may seem to clean faster, but just imagine what it would do to our environment (and with our children's children living in it!)! I must admit, I use some of those chemicals sometimes, but I am trying to shift to organic cleaners these days.

Sometimes it doesn't clean as thoroughly, but hey...I don't mind. lol. As long as we won't get sick, then that's fine by me. It is difficult at times, but...

Slowly, but surely. :)

Loving this quote and the ebook. It's not the type that you read and read until you finish it immediately. I like reading it in bits...not in a hurry with the journey. First time I've experienced this and really loving it. It makes me want to take my time, understand the characters and mull about what has been happening so far.

Going to find some more ebooks by Rachel Joyce, or something similar. :)

Hmmmm, I must really be getting old. LOL.

Not For Me

Am afraid this ebook isn't for me. As soon as I got my kindle I got this ebook since I have heard raves about it. Ugh. I was disappointed. I think it was bordering on porn, BUT that is just my personal opinion. I know, lots of ladies (and men, perhaps?) found this book awesome. I dunno. My choices are weird, I guess. lol. Never even got to finish that book. Deleted it from my device. Sigh.

I prefer Rick Riordan, Isaac Asimov, even John Grisham. lol.

Iris and the Dragonfly #Giveaway (+ $25 Amazon Card)

1 shared thoughts

This is a story written by Rosemary Danielis. The book is all about an eleven year old child named Iris, who prefers staying at the creek instead of playing with her school friends. Her only friends are the dragonflies and it amazes her how she can connect and relate with the said creatures.

Nonetheless, she is a loving child and cares for the environment, while doing great things for everyone. It was only when she learned of her destiny that her relationship with the dragonflies became more meaningful. So loving this piece of conversation in the book:
Iris: "A journey? Where am I going?"
Lea (dragonfly): "It's a journey into the future. Don't worry Iris, you are not alone. We are all in this journey together."
This novel is a certified must-read! It's perfect for all ages. You can keep the book yourself, or give this book to your kid(s) and teach them how one can fulfill his/her destiny against certain odds. But first, you must enter on the Rafflecopter below if you want to get the chance of owning your own copy!

Six lucky winners will receive copies of the book - 5 Kindle versions and 1 Paperback copy (autographed, how cool is that)! But wait, there's more: One winner will be randomly chosen to win $25 gift card to spend on Amazon. The giveaway will run from April 7 to 21, 2012.
