seafood
First: I finally changed my blog's template! Woohooooo!!! No more eyesores for everyone (i hope)! LOL :D

Now on to the main topic... :)
Went to the weekend market last Saturday (at the Phil. Lung Center) just because I had this craving for fresh seafood. They were cooked simply, and nothing beats home cooking! Plus, I get to eat them as soon as they were cooked! :)

post for:
food friday

*will be posting Food Friday here until my other blog is up and running ... many thanks to everyone for being patient and understanding. :)

congrats on the new template. the shrimps look sumptuous. as for oysters, it's best eaten raw--you can blanch it then dip in spicy vinegar.:p

the new template is nice...

i love oyster than clams so ill definitely choose oysters 1st hand..i do kinilaw for this.a bit similar to Luna, i blanch the shelled oysters for 1 min in boiling water then strain to drain. put it a bowl wit spicy vinegar, chopped onions, salt and pepper to taste.

if its really really fresh, i shuck and suck it from its shell. just like what i did in the beach of Bolinao, Panggasinan. its fresh since it came strait from the beach. but if its not fresh, or fresh but from the market, i dont dare to do such a thing.

my entry is here

ps: yes ms. admin FB post my blog entries as soon as its posted in my blog. since i did a scheduled entry. it posted 1st in FB b4 i commented here :D

I am not fond of seafood (except fish), and I don't eat a lot of shellfish (I think I only eat tahong), but when I had a vacation in Pangasinan last April, I was served with clams, and it just tasted good. Oysters, I still have to condition my head over that one.

My Food Friday post is up HERE. Happy weekends, Maiylah!
