The rainy days are here again ... so I thought it'd be great slurping something up for a change. After looking at what the refrigerator had to offer (not much, since it has been more than a week since we went to the grocery), this was the result:
Slurping the sour soup on a rainy night felt so goooooood! :)

First: I finally changed my blog's template! Woohooooo!!! No more eyesores for everyone (i hope)! LOL :D
Now on to the main topic... :)
Went to the weekend market last Saturday (at the Phil. Lung Center) just because I had this craving for fresh seafood. They were cooked simply, and nothing beats home cooking! Plus, I get to eat them as soon as they were cooked! :)

I asked hubby to 'draw' me one time and this was one of the results. I don't think it looks like me, but our youngest (a year and ten months old) said, "It's Mommy!"
lol. :)
lol. :)
Sometimes when my family and I go out during the weekends we normally don't think of lunch unless it's already lunch time; but last weekend we all thought of eating at Las Paella's Cafe even if it was only half past ten. lol. We loved their Paella Negra so much we thought we'd give it a try again (SM Annex at SM North EDSA).
We weren't disappointed. :)

I know, most of us would love to take a couple or so of pounds off our weights, but somehow it just isn't happening for me. I guess we also need to look at our BMI (body mass index), but knowing that I am losing weight (safely) would be one of the most satisfying feeling ever! We need to consult someone who is an expert on weight loss since we might need weight loss supplements. To compensate for the dieting, I suppose.
But what does my picture have to do with the topic? That's moringa (or as we call it locally, malunggay), which is one of the healthiest plant to eat on the planet! Definitely one of my fave leaves, but we don't come by this plant often. That came from our neighbor's plant...which happened to drop by on our side during the typhoon. I wish there were more so that I could have cooked them! ;P

We have been planning to buy another television for the bedroom but somehow that doesn't seem to be a priority. We want to place it somewhere far from the ground where our twenty-month old baby couldn't reach and play with it. He loves touching and drawing on things. Yup, and that includes tv stands! You should have seen our television and stand downstairs before we told him that it was off limits...funny and irritating at the same time.
For me, anyway, since who wants to watch television with crayons all over the screen! lol

I guess if you're really serious about cleansing yourself you wouldn't mind going to the 'extreme' side of it. For me, getting your colon clean means you eat and drink in moderation and do some fasting every once in a while. (Come to think about it... it has been ages since I tried fasting. Serious fasting, I mean.) But I know I have to learn more about it since I am definitely not an expert on that topic. I just eat and drink whenever I like it...hmmm, no wonder my weight's getting to be a concern for me these past few weeks! Though hubby says that I don't look fat at all (yup, he definitely loves me! LOL). :D
Usually before I get my period I develop these irritating pimples. I know, it's a hormonal thing, but somehow it still manages to irritate me; makes me wonder if Acneticin can help me with this situation. I haven't really tried doing anything about it since after a few miserable days it clears up, but still... Or should I just let nature take it's course and 'suffer' again and again?
My decision, I know. :)

I think I will be needing clinicallix real soon. Haven't tried it yet, but... I am gaining weight faster than I thought possible! It's just that lately I have been feeling hungrier than the usual ever since I started taking multivitamin capsules. I guess that means the capsules are doing their work, huh? I just don't like feeling hungry, and so I eat. Sometimes the food tastes so good I can't help but get another serving...together with another cup of rice! lol.
After I graduated from college I always thought of working for another company (we weren't really taught to "go-out-there-and-make-your-own-empire thingy" back then) so when the opportunity presented itself I grabbed it. Of course, my work had to do something with animals (which i loved!), but I never thought that I might need a disability insurance someday. Oh, nothing that terrible happened at work, but if you're around big animals most of the time (think bovine), accidents can happen. We were compensated, but somehow I wouldn't want to leave work disabled. lol.
Eventually I had to resign. The reason? Sorry, but it's personal. Too personal. :)

I know, snacking late at night isn't really recommended, specially if you're having the ones that i had last night! lol. Actually, hubby arrived late last night bringing the goodies from Banapple and when he opened a pack of our fave spicy instant noodles (no idea really what it's called..."nong shim"???), i couldn't help but get mine, too. :P
I didn't get to finish all of the sweets but the spicy instant noodles just hit the spot! *burp* excuse me. lol.

I like how this one turned out! ;)
Here in my part of the world we don't see much motorhomes. I guess that's because of our culture as well as the weather condition in our country. Or maybe it's because most can't just afford it. Still, if you have one it is important to get motorhome insurance. I'm not suddenly an expert on this, but I believe that getting insurance is good. I mean, anything can happen. We must always be prepared...
But I know that some people don't share the same sentiments. Still, it is their opinion. And I have just voiced out mine. ;)

If you travel a lot using your RV (or any other vehicle), then it is a good idea to get a reliable roadside assistance plan. You can't just count on your vehicle all the time. Of course, it helps a lot if you take good care of it, too (proper maintenance) but sometimes something could go wrong. Accidents are like that, you know. They strike whenever and wherever it feels like it. It's always better to have a back up plan than be stranded in a place that is not familiar.
Just some words of advice. ;)

This is the first time that I have seen the colors up close. I have taken macro shots of flies before (they are relatively easy to take shots of...lol), but not with these colors. I think it's gross (because of the hair) but cool (interesting colors!) at the same time.
Am definitely having fun with this lens! :D

Our eldest son accidentally turned the faucet handle too hard in the bathroom a few weeks ago and until now we still haven't had it replaced. Yes, it can still be used, but it does look kind of weird having a hole in the middle. I always forget to buy the handle when we go to the supermarket since their bathroom fixtures aren't that visible. I mean, it is located a bit far from the groceries section...and that's why I keep forgetting. I know, I should make a list, but I don't.
Maybe it's about time I make a list, huh? Or not. ;P

Whenever we go to the mall and buy something, and when you pay for it, there is always this scanner. I guess it scans the barcode for the price. I haven't really thought about it much, but some of the scanners, like the Symbol LS2208 barcode scanner, looks pretty nifty. I just looked it up in the internet since the phrase intrigued me; it sounded more like a chemical substance, rather than a barcode scanner. lol. I guess the design of the scanner is important since it should be comfortable, specially if you hold it whole day while at work. It shouldn't be too heavy or bulky. Equally important is how it holds up when being used. But who am I to make comments, huh? I mean, I haven't even held one .... much more use one! :D
When I was pregnant with my youngest son (he's almost two years now) I realized how important prenatal vitamins are to one who has a small life that needs supporting inside (one's body). I was really apprehensive that time since I was concerned whether being pregnant at my age is a wise choice. Of course, abortion is no option. I would never do that! I just kept hoping and praying that my pregnancy and the delivery would be "uneventful". Good thing it was! :)
Now I need to keep up with the hoping and praying that I will be able to raise him up properly and instill in him a loving relationship with the Lord. :))

Didn't get to go out last weekend since my youngest had fever ... so, stocked up on snack food! some are not quite healthy, i know. :D
**btw, he's fine now; except for the cough. but his health is improving, thank heavens! :)

Playing with the macro lens again... slowly (too slowly) getting the hang of it.
Still, am Luvin' it! :)

These past few weeks I know I have been eating more than my share since most of the time after eating I end up feeling so bloated! Blame it on the rice! lol. Actually, I love eating rice and I don't think I can live without it. Yeah. Literally. But I know that too much of anything (whether good or bad) is a bad thing, so I should really cut back on my rice (or carbohydrates, for that matter) consumption. I don't want to have to go out (or go online) just to buy one of those weight loss pills; but I am seriously considering it.
Oh well. Discipline is the answer. I think. :)

Sometimes whenever I comb my hair I get quite a number of hair left on the comb that it kind of got me thinking: am I going bald? I read somewhere that you loose around a certain number of hair a day (I think it was a hundred, or so) and we shouldn't worry (it only causes stress which can eventually lead to hair loss, lol). However, that hasn't stopped me from buying one of those hair loss shampoo found on the market; which, upon closer examination of the brand that I bought, states that it actually only prevents 'hair breakages'. :D
