Weekend Snapshot: Native Tomatoes

tomatoes
Tomatoes from my sister-in-law's garden. This was taken a few weekends ago when we got to visit them. Since they have lots of space in their place she has started planting vegetables and fruits around their home. I think it's really neat, and fun! :)

Wish I could do that here in the city, too ...

It's great to have your own garden of vegetables and fruits. I'm sure your SIL enjoys harvesting them.

You can try growing them in pots...then call your garden, "POTS IN THE CITY". LOL!

It's a good idea to self plant some vegetables in the garden. Healthy and knowing they're mostly organic :)

Cute photo... It is good knowing you have your own vegetable plants. At least you are sure they are safe foods ;0

I love those and I haven planning to have my mini-vegetable garden but I haven't taken the first step to do so. Maybe I will consider this na since prices will be higher once the rainy season kicks in regularly.

Those are unlike any tomatoes I've ever seen before!

With current tomato scare those are priceless. My plants aren't fruiting yet so I am having to call around to local greenhouses to get tomatos I think are safe to eat.

Your tomatoes are very different from the ones I grow. Nice shot and they look delicious. Mine won't be ripe for another month.
