Caterpillar ...

5 shared thoughts
caterpillarCaterpillar I found a few days ago in one of our calamansi (citrus) plants. I was worried that this caterpillar won't be able to reach adult size since this plant was still small. After a few days all the leaves were gone!!!

Know what we did? We transferred the caterpillar (it was bigger now) to another much older calamansi plant! It resisted at first (I smelled something icky when it "protested") but we had to do it so that it will have a bigger chance of surviving. This type of caterpillars seem to really prefer the calamansi plant ... wonder what would happen if ever the calamansi plant in our place is no longer "popular"! What a horrifying thought!

Oh my this is an excellent shot. I can't wait to get off the road so I can concentrate on getting more close ups.

Right now all of the photos showing on my site are being found all over the country.

Many are taken while we are bouncing along the road. I think that will give me good practice though.

I just took up photography and I a addicted!!
Happy day:-)))

Doesn't it figure! You gave him a good chance at life, even at the expense of your plants.

Bless your kind heart. I'm sure that caterpillar will turn into a lovely butterfly.
