About three years ago hubby and I bought our son a PS2 because we felt that he really deserved it: he got the highest award in his class that year! At first he wasn't so much into it; I guess it was because most of his classmates didn't own one, so they couldn't relate to his new toy. Eventually, though, his classmates got theirs, too. :)
