Some people might view this differently than I do ... :)
I believe that this is true. Whatever situation you are in right now (whether you're rich, poor, or in-between, or a catholic, or not, or ... yeah, you get the idea), you have no right blaming anybody else. You had the choice to follow the other person, or not. You always have the choice.
Just be mature enough to face the consequences, and not blame anybody else ...
Just me and my mumbling ramblings. again. lol.
