actually, i just took a shot of the original photo then did some photoshop thingy.
it was torn in some parts ... lots of signs that it was really old (this was taken more or less during the 1920s). though thank heavens there were no fold marks!
that's my grandma and grandad (we fondly call them *nanay and **tatay, respectively).
though i didn't get to see my grandad since he died before i was even born. died of malaria, they say...
*nanay = mom
**tatay = dad
yeah, confusing, huh? we call our parents mama and papa ... ;)
