I've got a friend who recently broke up with her boyfriend a few months ago, and believe me, she was one devastated wreck the day it happened. I mean, she cried miserably for days and didn't want to go out of the house. We all did everything that we could do to help her during those tough times, and eventually she pulled out of it. Of course she still gets the sniffles every now and then (she really loved the guy), but she's now determined to move on.
A friend suggested that she visit sites where you choose the dating service that suits your requirements: casual dates, fun singles, romantic connections or serious long term relationships. Another friend suggested she try reading some topics about being single, or trying to find somebody compatible. I believe that that's really great, and hope that she'll be brave about it and move on.
What about you? Do you know anybody who might be interested in finding relationship online? If so, then I suggest they try visiting those different sites! There are lots out there, and if one site doesn't fit your needs, then don't despair .... I'm sure you'll find the perfect one for yourself real soon! :)

I received a text message from a fellow photo-enthusiast last night that the canon eos 450D (it's called Rebel XSi in North America, and EOS Kiss X2 in Japan) is already here in the Philippines! Really got me interested. I am thinking about choosing between the 40D and the 450D, and I have already seen the 40D (which, for me, is really quite heavy and bulky). So maybe once I get to see the 450D i just might make my decision immediately. That means I will be able to get my dslr before summer ends! Yeheeyyy!

I don't know about most people, but sometimes I visit sites like online casinos because they are interesting for me. No, I haven't really tried playing, but I have been 'researching' about the topic. I never knew before that you needed to know different strategies in order to win in some games! I haven't actually tried it myself, but I read that in a site somewhere (have visited various sites already, I must admit I tend to forget the specific sites sometimes). There's this site though, Mucho Casino, where you can download online casino games. Interesting!
I know my online friend who's so passionate about online casinos would advice me to try visiting different sites first before actually trying my hand at betting. I totally agree with that, too. I mean, that's only logical since we're talking about money here. Besides, I must admit I don't have the extra cash yet to start playing in those sites! :)
The best advice that was given by my friend, though, was that I should have discipline. I should stop when I know it's time and not waste more money. That might sound weird, but I believe that that's really sound advice. I just wish I'd be as disciplined as he when it's my turn! :)

Gambling is certainly something that other persons are passionate about, but can be tiring and offensive (maybe) to some. As for me, I don't hate it, but I'm not overly fond of it, either. I guess you can say I am somewhere between the two. :)

Yesterday my family and I were at a mall and hubby saw a pair of crocs™ islander which he really liked. We stopped and asked if they had his size; we were told that they needed to go check it out first at their store room. We agreed. Little did we know that we had to wait for almost half an hour before the attendant would return!
Anyway, the sad thing is that they didn't have his size, but they said that they can get one at another branch. hahaha. We were not about to wait for another hour, though. So we said we'd just return when they have the size. :)
As for my footwear, well, we found a shop which were selling them but since we were pressed for time, decided to go back next time. Hopefully, I can get one without waiting forever! ;P

I was just looking at some of the pictures posted at my nephew's friendster account, and I can't help but notice that their PROM Dresses are more elegant than they were during my time! All of them look real good and the girl's prom gowns were really awesome. I mean, some of the dresses I believe I can only see online, and maybe they did order them online! Technology these days can be pretty amazing (and daunting, for some).The dresses that we wore during our time (which feels like eons ago! lol) were simpler and only about one or two had those designer evening dresses. Definitely way out of my parent's budget! But we really didn't mind, since most of us had similar dresses, anyway. ;)
